1 2 3 Dosa With Potato Saung





Ingredients


1 cup urad dal

2 cups boiled rice/ ukda chaval

3 cups dosa rice

1 tsp methi seeds/fenugreek seeds

Salt to taste

Pinch of cooking soda

Oil for cooking dosa




Procedure

  • Soak urad dal, methi seeds, and both the rice in water for 5-6 hrs

  • Wash well and grind into a fine batter and let it ferment for 8-10 hrs

  • Next morning add salt and cooking soda, mix well, add water if needed to adjust the consistency

  • Heat tava and take a ladle of batter, spread on hot tava

  • Make thick dosas, adding little oil, cook covered with a lid

  • No need to flip the dosa, once it is cooked serve hot with coconut chutney.
