Ingredients
2 cups green peas
1 cup potato cut into cubes
4 chopped onions
2 chopped tomato
!/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
4 tsp oil + for deep frying
For the masala:
2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 clove(lavang)
1/4 inch cinnamon
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 tsp khus khus
7-8 peppercorns
1/2 chopped onion
2 cardamoms------Roast all these ingredients in 2 tsp oil and grind to a fine paste.
Procedure
Cook green peas with salt and 1/2 cup water
Deep fry potato cubes (you can also use boiled potato)
In Kadai take oil and saute chopped onions till it turns pink in colour
Add chopped tomato and fry well
Add turmeric powder and chilli powder
Put the ground masala and fry well
Add green peas, potato cubes and salt and make it boil
Garnish with coriander leaves.
