Aam ka Panna /Raw Mango Juice

Ingredients

1/2 kg raw mango

1 cup sugar

4 tsp black salt

2 tsp roasted cumin /jeera powder

1/2 tsp pepper powder

1/2 tsp saffron color




Procedure


  • Wash, peel, and cut mangoes into chunks, put them in the cooker, and add enough water to cover them

  • Close the lid of the cooker and cook on a high flame for two whistles

  • Turn off the flame, once the steam is released open the cooker, let the mangoes cool down

  • Blend the boiled mango chunks and make a smooth paste

  • Add sugar, black salt, jeera powder, pepper powder, and saffron color, mix well

  • Add 5-6 cups of chilled water and mix

  • Serve chilled Panna with ice cubes, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
