Aam Pudina Masala Chaas / Masala Buttermilk





Ingredients


4 cups thin buttermilk

Salt to taste

2 tsp roasted jeera powder

1 tsp chaat masala


To be ground to paste:

1/4 cup chopped raw mango

6-8 pudina/ mint leaves

1 or 2 green chilies

1/2 inch ginger

1/4 cup coriander leaves

Grind the above into a paste adding little water



Procedure

  • Add 1/2 cup water to the ground paste and strain it

  • Add the strained water to the buttermilk and add salt to taste

  • Check the salt, add chat masala and roasted jeera/ cumin powder ,mix well and refrigerate

  • Serve chilled masala chaas and enjoy.
