Adraki Chilli Chicken





Ingredients

2 breast pieces of chicken cut into small cubes

1/2 cup onion cut into cubes (separate the layers)

1/4 capsicum cut into cubes

10 garlic cloves finely chopped 2 inches ginger piece finely chopped

2 green chillies finely chopped

4 tsp oil

2 tsp soya sauce

1 1/2 tsp lime juice

2 tsp red chilli powder diluted in 1/4 cup water

2 tsp cornflour diluted in 3 tblsp water

1/2 tsp sugar

Salt to taste

chopped spring onion greens for garnishing





Procedure

  • In a Kadai heat oil and fry ginger, garlic and green chillies till light brown in colour

  • Add onion and capsicum cubes and saute on a high flame for 3-4 mins with Lil salt

  • Put the chicken and cook without a lid

  • When it is cooked add soya sauce and chilli paste, salt to taste and toss well

  • Add the corn flour slurry and mix

  • Cook for 5 mins, add sugar and lime juice

  • Garnish with chopped spring onion greens

  • Serve hot with any rice or noodles.
