Ingredients
1 cup baby potatoes boiled and peeled (don't overcook)
3-4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard,3-4 methi/fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida powder
1/2 tsp amchur powder or lime juice
Salt to taste
Make a paste of 2 tsp red chilli powder,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp cumin powder,1/2 tsp chat masala, and keep aside
Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing
Procedure
In a non-stick Kadai heat oil and add mustard
When it starts crackling add asafoetida pdr, methi seeds
now put the potatoes, salt and fry till it becomes light brown in colour
Now add the masala paste and toss well for 5mins
Finally garnish with amchur, spring onion greens and serve hot with roti or rice.
