Aloo Pyaz Ka Paratha (Dhaba Style)





Ingredients


2 boiled and mashed potatoes

1 big finely chopped onion

2 finely chopped green chillies

1/2 tsp turmeric pdr

1/2 tsp red chilli pdr

1 tsp cumin/jeera pdr

1 tsp coriander / daniya pdr

1 tsp Garam masala

1 tsp Chat masala

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves

Oil or ghee for cooking paratha


For the roti:

2 cups wheat flour/ atta

Salt to taste

3 tsp oil

Mix the above ingredients, add water as required and make a soft dough

Keep the dough covered for 15 mins




Procedure

  • Take boiled potatoes in a bowl, add all the other ingredients(except oil), combine well and keep aside.

  • Divide the dough into portions, make balls, and roll into a thick small roti

  • Put some potato filling in the center , cover it with the dough, make a ball, and roll it into paratha

  • Heat tava and roast parathas in a medium flame till it becomes golden brown and crisp

  • Serve hot with butter, curds, and pickle.
