Ambade Upkari /Hogplum sweet curry

Ingredients


4 Hogplums

2 cups of Water

1/2 cup Jaggery

1 tsp Maida

Salt to taste

1 Green Chilli


For Tempering:

2 tsp Oil

1 tsp Mustard seeds

2 Red Chilies

4-5 Curry Leaves




Procedure



  • Cut Hogplums into quarters.

  • Boil the hog plums with slit green chillies in 2 cups of water.

  • Once the hog plums are cooked add salt and jaggery.

  • Mix 1 tsp of Maida in 2 tsp of water and add this to the hogplums.

  • Once it becomes thick, take it off the flame and add in the tempering.

  • You can also try the same recipe using Ripe Mangoes or Pineapple.
