Ingredients
4 Hogplums
2 cups of Water
1/2 cup Jaggery
1 tsp Maida
Salt to taste
1 Green Chilli
For Tempering:
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
2 Red Chilies
4-5 Curry Leaves
Procedure
Cut Hogplums into quarters.
Boil the hog plums with slit green chillies in 2 cups of water.
Once the hog plums are cooked add salt and jaggery.
Mix 1 tsp of Maida in 2 tsp of water and add this to the hogplums.
Once it becomes thick, take it off the flame and add in the tempering.
You can also try the same recipe using Ripe Mangoes or Pineapple.
