Amritsari Gobi Ke Pakode






Ingredients

2 cups cauliflower cut into small florets

2 finely chopped onions

2 tblsp chopped coriander leaves

1 tblsp grated ginger

generous pinch of ajwain

2 tblsp cornflour

2 tblsp rice flour

4 tblsp gram flour/ besan

4-5 finely chopped green chillies

Salt to taste

1/4 tsp turmeric pdr

Oil for deep frying





Procedure

  • Take chopped onion, gobi florets, salt in a bowl and add ajwain, chopped ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves,haldi pdr and mix well

  • Add cornflour, rice flour and besan and give a good mix, adding lil water, it will become lil sticky

  • Dont make it too watery as it won't be crispy

  • Heat oil and fry till it becomes crisp and golden brown

  • Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
