Ingredients
1/4 cup boiled toor dal
1/2 cup avarekaalu / hyacinth beans
1 cup halasina kayi / raw jack fruit pieces
1 chopped tomato
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
To make a paste:
3 tblsp fresh grated coconut
3-4 tsp Huli powder
little tamarind
For the tempering:
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig of curry leaf
1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida
Procedure
Cook beans, chopped tomato, and raw jackfruit pieces with a little salt and 1/2 cup water in cooker for 2 whistles
Transfer the boiled dal and boiled veggies in a vessel, put salt to taste, ground masala and water as needed
Make it boil and temper with the ingredients
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve hot with rice.
