Ingredients
1 cup avarekaalu / hyacinth beans boiled
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
1/2 inch ginger piece
3 green chillies finely chopped
1 sprig of curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 chopped onion
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
Dry roast 1 tsp jeera and 4-5 methi seeds and make powder
Procedure
In a pan heat oil, add mustard. Let it crackle, add curry leaves, turmeric powder, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger and jeera
Fry for a second, add chopped onion and saute till it turns light brown
Now add in the boiled beans, salt to taste and crushed jeera and methi powder
Mix well and let it cook for 5-10 mins
Turn off the flame, add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice and toss well
Serve hot with rice or roti.
