Baby Potato Butter Masala





Ingredients

10 nos baby potatoes, boiled (dont overcook the potatoes)

2 tsp oil

4 tsp butter

2 slit green chillies

2 chopped onion

1 tomato chopped

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tblsp cashew nut paste or powder

1/2 tsp turmeric pdr

1 tsp garam masala pdr

1 tsp coriander pdr

2 tsp red chilli pdr

1/4 tsp pepper pdr

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves




Procedure

  • Peel the potatoes and roast in oil with salt till the outer cover becomes light brown

  • Remove from pan and keep aside

  • In the same pan put butter,add slit green chillies, chopped onions and fry till onion becomes transparent

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 5 mins

  • Put the tomato chopped and fry till they become mushy, followed by all the spice powders

  • Fry for a minute, add little water, boiled n roasted potatoes, salt, cashew powder or paste and make it boil

  • Adjust the consistency according to your taste

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti.
