Bajar Methi ka Thepla

Bajar/Pearl Millet has a high amount of fiber and aids digestion. It also lowers your bad cholesterol while increasing the good cholesterol in your system.





Ingredients

1 1/2 cups bajre ka atta/ pearl millet flour

1/2 cup gehun ka atta/ wheat flour

1/2 cup finely chopped methi/ fenugreek leaves

2 tbsp oil

2 tsp salt

2 tsp ginger

2-3 green chillies

2 garlic cloves(optional)

2 tsp coriander / dhaniya powder

1 tsp sugar

1 cup Curds/yogurt to knead the dough



Procedure


  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well

  • Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough with curds.

  • Divide into portions and make balls.

  • Heat dosa pan. Take the prepared balls and roll out into thin paratha place the rolled paratha/ thepla on the preheated Tava

  • Drizzle with oil or ghee and cook both sides till it turns golden brown and crisp.

  • Serve hot with aam ka chunda or lahsoon ki chutney.
