Ingredients
2 bangda/ mackerel fish
1 onion finely chopped
1-inch ginger finely chopped
2 green Chillies chopped
4 tsp coconut oil
Salt to taste
For the masala paste
1 cup grated fresh coconut
gooseberry size tamarind
4-5 red Chillies roasted in little oil
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep aside.
Procedure
Wash and clean the fish, cut into medium size pieces
Apply little salt to the fish and keep aside.
Put the ground masala in a vessel, add salt, chopped onion, ginger and green chillies
Make it boil for 5 mins, now add the fish and cook till the fish is cooked, for about 10 mins
Finally, add the coconut oil and switch off the flame
Serve hot with hot rice and enjoy.
