Beans Batate Upkari/Stir Fry





Ingredients

2 cups finely chopped beans

1 finely chopped potato

4 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

1/2 tsp turmeric pdr

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/2 tsp asafoetida/hing pdr

3 green chillies

2 tbsp grated coconut

Salt to taste




Procedure

  • Wash chopped beans and potatoes

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, when it starts crackling put all other ingredients of tempering

  • Add chopped beans, potato,salt,1/4 cup water and cook with a lid covered

  • When it is cooked add grated coconut and give a nice stir and serve hot with rice and dal.
