Ingredients
1/2 cup boiled and chopped beetroot
Salt to taste
Jaggery to taste(optional)
1/4 curds
For the masala paste:
1/4 fresh grated coconut
1/2 green chilli and 2 tsp sesame seeds roasted in 1/2 tsp oil
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste
For the tempering:
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig curry leaf
1 broken red chilli
Procedure
Put the boiled and chopped beetroot in a bowl
Add the masala and curds, once it comes to room temperature
Add salt and powdered jaggery according to your taste
Temper with the mentioned ingredients and serve chilled with rice.
