Belgaum Kunda




Ingredients


1 ltr milk

1/2 cup sugar + 1/4 cup

1/2 cup fresh curd

1 tsp cardamom powder




Procedure

  • Put the milk in a thick bottomed vessel and boil it until it is reduced to 1/3 rd

  • Add sugar to it and mix well.

  • Add the curds and cook, you will see that the milk will curdle, continue cooking, stirring continuously.

  • Heat another pan, add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, heat it till it caramelizes and turns into brown color

  • Immediately pour this into the curdled milk and stir well

  • Continue cooking till it becomes dry, add the cardamom powder and mix well

  • Serve hot or chilled.
