Besan ki Barfi

Ingredients


1 cup besan

2 cups sugar

1 cup ghee

1 cup milk

1 tsp cardamom powder

Handful cashew nuts finely chopped




Procedure

  • In a bowl mix sugar and milk, till sugar dissolves

  • Grease one thali or a square tin and keep it ready

  • In pan heat ghee, add besan, and roast till a nice aroma comes

  • Add milk, in which sugar is dissolved

  • Put cashew nuts chopped and cardamom powder

  • Stir continuously, till it makes a lump and leaves the sides of the pan

  • It takes around 15 to 20 mins

  • Pour the mixture into the greased tin and allow it to set

  • When it is still warm cut into desired shape and store in an airtight jar.
