Bhajji Ambado/Amaranth leaves Fritters




Ingredients


1 cup soaked dosa rice

1/2 cup soaked toor dal

1/4 cup grated fresh coconut

6 tsp chilli powder

2 cups chopped amaranth leaves

Salt to taste

Oil to deep fry



Procedure


  • Grind toor dal and rice with coconut to a dry batter (grind little coarse)

  • Mix with chilli powder, chopped leaves, salt to taste

  • Shape into balls and flatten a little

  • Deep fry till it becomes crispy

  • Goes well with hot rice and dal
