Bisi Bele Bhaath is a popular Karnataka dish, which can be easily served for breakfast, lunch and even for dinner. It is the most aromatic and flavourful rice recipe of Karnataka. It is prepared with special aromatic spice powder and most popular in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is also popularly called Huli anna in Bangalore.
Ingredients
1/2 cup chana dal(Bengal gram dal)
1/2 cup urad dal (Skinless black gram)
3/4 cup coriander seeds (daniya)
100 gms red chillies
1/4 dry coconut
3-4 lavang (cloves)
1-inch cinnamon(dalchini)
1 Maratha moggu
Procedure
Dry roast all spices separately and make a fine powder. Store in an airtight container.
