Ingredients
2 cups broccoli cut into florets
1/2 cup fine semolina/ rava
Oil for deep frying
For the marination:
3 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Procedure
Wash the broccoli florets 2-3 times in water and drain all the water.
Mix all the marination ingredients with little water and make a thick paste. Marinate the broccoli florets with the paste.
Roll it in rava/ semolina. Heat oil in a kadayi.
Once the oil is hot, drop the broccoli florets one by one and deep fry till they turn crisp and brown in colour.
Transfer them on absorbent paper. Serve hot with chai, coffee or with rice and rasam.
