Broccoli Rava Fry






Ingredients

2 cups broccoli cut into florets

1/2 cup fine semolina/ rava

Oil for deep frying


For the marination:

3 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp rice flour

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tsp red chilli powder

Salt to taste




Procedure


  • Wash the broccoli florets 2-3 times in water and drain all the water.

  • Mix all the marination ingredients with little water and make a thick paste. Marinate the broccoli florets with the paste.

  • Roll it in rava/ semolina. Heat oil in a kadayi.

  • Once the oil is hot, drop the broccoli florets one by one and deep fry till they turn crisp and brown in colour.

  • Transfer them on absorbent paper. Serve hot with chai, coffee or with rice and rasam.
