Cabbage Rice





Ingredients

2 cups rice

1 cup finely chopped cabbage

2 sliced onions

5 tsp oil

1 tsp lime juice

3 green chillies

1-inch ginger

5 cloves garlic

2 lavang (cloves)

small piece cinnamon(dalchini)

salt to taste

coriander leaves for garnishing




Procedure

  • Cook the rice in a cooker with salt and 4 cups of water (if it is basmati put 3 1/2 water)

  • Cool the rice

  • Make a paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic

  • In a Kadai take oil, add lavang, dalchini, sliced onion and fry for 5 mins

  • Add ground paste n fry well

  • Add chopped cabbage, Lil salt and saute it

  • Now mix the rice, salt to taste and lime juice

  • Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
