Ingredients
1/2 cup mixed sprout boiled
2 cups finely chopped cabbage
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp lemon juice
For the tempering:
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp chana dal/Bengal gram dal
1 tsp urad dal/ Skinless split black pigeon
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
curry leaves
To be ground into coarse masala:
1/4 cup grated fresh coconut
3 green chillies
2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
Procedure
In a pan heat oil and make the tempering with the ingredients
Add cabbage, salt and cook with a lid covered
when it is almost cooked add boiled sprouts, masala, lemon juice and cook for another 10 mins
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
