Chana Palak





Ingredients

1 cup boiled chana (chickpeas)

1 cup finely chopped palak (spinach)

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 finely chopped tomato

3 tsp oil

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp turmeric powder


To make the paste:

In 1 tsp oil roast lightly 3 green chillies,5 garlic cloves, and 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves and grind it coarsely.




Procedure

  • In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions till translucent

  • Put turmeric powder, chopped tomato and cook till tomato blends well

  • Add the masala and fry for a minute

  • Put chopped spinach, salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes

  • Add boiled chana and cook for 5-10 minutes and serve hot with roti.
