Cheese Corn Pops





Ingredients

1 cup sweet corn kernels

1/4 cup grated cheese

2 green chillies

2 tblsp corn flour

1/4 tsp pepper pdr

1/2 tsp oregano(optional)

Salt to taste

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup milk

Oil for deep frying




Procedure


  • Coarsely grind corn kernels and green chilies

  • Transfer it to a bowl, add salt, pepper pdr, oregano, grated cheese, cornflour

  • Mix well and divide the mixture into equal portions, make balls

  • Dip each ball in the milk and roll them in the bread crumbs

  • Refrigerate the balls for 10 mins to set

  • Heat oil, deep fry the balls on a medium flame into crisp and brown pops

  • Serve hot with any dip of your choice.
