Chicken 65

Ingredients


2 pieces chicken breast pieces

Oil for deep frying +1 tbsp

1 tsp red chilli powder

Pinch of sugar

Salt to taste

2 tbsp curds

2 tbsp corn flour

Chopped coriander leaves


For the marination:

2 Tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp pepper powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste


For the seasoning you need:

1 tsp cumin seeds

2 tsp finely chopped garlic

1/2 tsp pepper powder

2 chopped green chillies

Few sprigs of curry leaves



Procedure


  • Wash, clean and cut the chicken into small cubes and marinate with the ingredients for 1 hour

  • Mix red chilli powder,sugar, ginger garlic paste, curd with 2 tbsp of water and keep aside

  • Sprinkle the cornflour over the marinated chicken, mix well, add little water if needed and coat the chicken

  • Heat oil and deep fry chicken till they are cooked and turns golden brown

  • Drain them on a tissue paper

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan, add curry leaves, green chillies and cumin seeds, chopped garlic, fry till curry leaves turn crisp

  • Add the seasoning mixture prepared and let it boil

  • Add the fried chicken pieces, toss well and fry on a medium flame till it absorbs all the moisture

  • Overflying may make the chicken red coriander leaves and fried curry leaves

  • Serve hot with rice, noodles or as a starter.
