Ingredients
2 pieces chicken breast pieces
Oil for deep frying +1 tbsp
1 tsp red chilli powder
Pinch of sugar
Salt to taste
2 tbsp curds
2 tbsp corn flour
Chopped coriander leaves
For the marination:
2 Tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
For the seasoning you need:
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
1/2 tsp pepper powder
2 chopped green chillies
Few sprigs of curry leaves
Procedure
Wash, clean and cut the chicken into small cubes and marinate with the ingredients for 1 hour
Mix red chilli powder,sugar, ginger garlic paste, curd with 2 tbsp of water and keep aside
Sprinkle the cornflour over the marinated chicken, mix well, add little water if needed and coat the chicken
Heat oil and deep fry chicken till they are cooked and turns golden brown
Drain them on a tissue paper
Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan, add curry leaves, green chillies and cumin seeds, chopped garlic, fry till curry leaves turn crisp
Add the seasoning mixture prepared and let it boil
Add the fried chicken pieces, toss well and fry on a medium flame till it absorbs all the moisture
Overflying may make the chicken red coriander leaves and fried curry leaves
Serve hot with rice, noodles or as a starter.
