Chicken Uruval





Ingredients

1/2 kg chicken cut into pieces

4 tsp oil


For the Marination:


2 tsp Corriander powder

1 tsp Jeera powder (Cumin)

4 tsp Red chilly powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp tamarind pulp




Procedure

  • Marinate the chicken pieces in the marinade mentioned above and refrigerate them for 2 hrs.

  • In a pan take 4 tsp of Oil, Add the marinated chicken.

  • Add salt to taste.

  • Cover and cook till the chicken cooks through.

  • Finally garnish with roasted cashews, four red chilies, and curry leaves.
