Ingredients
250 gms cleaned,deveined prawns
4 tsp oil
1 onion
2 green chillies
1/4 cup red and green capsicum cut into pieces
5 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp corn flour
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
Salt to taste
3 tsp finely chopped spring onion
Procedure
In 1 tsp oil saute prawns with a little salt, till it is half done
Cut the onion into cubes and separate the layers
In a pan heat the remaining oil and saute chopped garlic, onion and slit green chillies for 3-4 minutes
Add chopped capsicum and saute for 2 minutes
Put the sauces,chilli flakes, vinegar and cornflour mixed in 1/2 cup water(if you want it dry then add less water)
When it starts boiling and becomes thick add the half-cooked prawns, salt to taste and keep covered till the prawns are cooked
Garnish with chopped spring onion
Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
