Churmundo





Ingredients


6 cups wheat flour / aata

3 cups besan/ chickpea flour

3 cups sugar

2 cups ghee

2 tsp cardamom powder / elaichi powder




Procedure

  • In a thick bottomed kadayi, heat 1/2 cup ghee,add besan, and roast in a low flame until you get a nice aroma or light brown color

  • Add the aata and roast till the color changes ( it takes nearly 30 mins to roast)

  • Add the remaining ghee and roast further for 5 mins

  • Turn off the flame, add sugar powder,elaichi powder and mix well.

  • If it looks too dry you can add 2 tsp ghee

  • Make laddoos and store them in an airtight container.
