Banana Flower Stir Fry

Ingredients

1 banana flower/ banana blossom

6 tsp oil

8-10 garlic cloves crushed

3-4 broken red chilies

Salt to taste




Procedure

  • Finely chop banana flower and put in water for 10 mins

  • Drain water and put salt and mix well, keep for 30mins

  • After 30 mins, squeeze out all the water from it and keep it in a bowl

  • Heat oil in a thick-bottomed Kadai ,add crushed garlic and red chilies, fry till garlic becomes brown

  • Add the chopped banana flower and cook with a lid covered till it is cooked

  • Once it is cooked open the lid and fry on a low flame till it becomes a little crisp

  • Serve hot with rice and dal.
