Corn Mint Rice Tikkis

These tikkis are prepared with the leftover corn Mint rice / pulav. you can use any pulav or even plai n white rice also.




Ingredients

1 cup any pulav or plain white rice

1 chopped onion

2 tblsp cornflour

chopped coriander leaves

1/2 tsp garam masala

Bread crumbs

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying




Procedure

  • Mash the rice with your hands and mix with cornflour, chopped onion,garam masala, coriander leaves, and salt

  • Divide into equal portions and shape into tikkis

  • Roll each Tikki in bread crumbs

  • Heat tava and roast tikkis adding oil, on both the sides

  • Serve hot with ketchup.

NOTE: If you are using plain rice then add little ginger, garlic, green chilli paste, chopped mint leaves also. And increase the amount of garam masala.
