As the name indicates this dosa is just soft as Cotton. Thick, spongy, and porous dosa tastes awesome with chutney or any spicy curry.
Ingredients
3 cups dosa rice
1/4 cup urad dal
1 cup thick Poha/beaten rice/Avalakki
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa
Procedure
Soak dal and rice in water for 3-4 hours
Soak Poha separately in water
Grind the above into a fine paste and keep overnight for fermentation
Before making dosa add the salt to taste
Dosa batter consistency is like set dosa batter(not very thin)
Heat Tava and put a ladle full of batter and spread a little, put some oil on the sides and cook with a lid covered
Serve dosa with chutney or kurma
