Cotton Dosa





Ingredients

3 cups dosa rice

1/4 cup urad dal

1 cup thick poha/beaten rice/avalakki

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking dosa



Procedure


  • Soak dal and rice in water for 3-4 hours

  • Soak poha separately in water

  • Grind the above into a fine paste and keep overnight for fermentation

  • Before making dosa add the salt to taste

  • Dosa batter consistency is like set dosa batter(not very thin)

  • Heat tava and put a ladle full of batter and spread a little, put some oil on the sides and cook with a lid covered

  • Serve dosa with chutney or kurma.
