Crispy Paneer Fingers






Ingredients

200 gms Paneer cut into fingers

Oil for deep frying


For the marination:

2 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garam masala powder


For the batter:

1/2 cup maida/all-purpose flour

3/4 cup water

Salt to taste


For the coating:

1 cup crushed cornflakes

Chat masala to sprinkle




Procedure

  • Marinate paneer fingers with ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.

  • Mix the flour with salt and water to make a thick batter.

  • Dip the paneer in the batter and roll it in the crushed corn flakes and coat it with them.

  • Heat oil and deep fry until golden brown and crisp, on a medium flame.

  • Sprinkle with chaat masala and serve with mayo dip or tomato ketchup.

  • to make mayo dip, mix mayonnaise with ketchup or schezuan chutney.
