Dahi Chicken





Ingredients

1 cup boneless chicken cut into dices

4 tsp oil

2 red chillies

1 sprig of curry leaf

2 chopped onion

1/2 tsp pepper pdr

1 tsp Kasuri methi

salt to taste


For the marination:

1/4 cup curd

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tsp red chilli pdr

12 tsp turmeric pdr

1 tsp garam masala pdr

2 cloves

small piece of cinnamon

1 bay leaf

salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves




Procedure

  • Wash and clean the chicken and cut into dices

  • Marinate chicken with the ingredients and keep for 1/2 an hour

  • In a Kadai heat oil and put red chillies, curry leaves, bay leaf, clove cinnamon

  • Add chopped onions and saute till light brown in colour

  • Put the marinated chicken, salt and 1/2 cup water

  • Cook with a lid covered

  • when chicken is cooked add pepper powder,garam masala, Kasuri methi and give one boil

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
