Ingredients
3 medium-size Anjal / surmai / kingfish slices
Oil for deep frying
For the marination:
5 tbsp corn flour
3 tbsp maida
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp soya sauce
Salt to taste
For the tempering:
2 chopped onions
8-10 garlic cloves finely chopped
1-inch ginger finely chopped
2 slit green chillies
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp corn flour mixed in 1/4 cup water
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp CHING'S CHILLI MIRACLE MASALA (OPTIONAL)
5 tsp oil
chopped coriander leaves
Procedure
Clean and wash fish. Separate the bones and cut them into cubes
Marinate the boneless fish cubes with the ingredients mentioned.
Keep for 1/2 an hour and deep fry
In a pan heat oil and saute garlic, ginger, chilli and onion chopped for 5 minutes
Add chilli powder, ching's masala powder, vinegar and all sauces
Put corn flour slurry and mix well
When the gravy becomes thick add fried fish and toss it
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Adding capsicum to the masala is optional.
