Ghee Rice With Mushroom Pepper Dry





Ingredients


10 mushrooms

2 finely chopped onions

1 slit green chilli

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tsp soya sauce

1 tsp vinegar

2 tsp crushed pepper (use according to your taste)

4 tsp oil

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves


For the marination:

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

3 tsp cornflour

1 tsp ginger garlic paste


Wash mushrooms and cut into 2 pieces

Spread it on a kitchen towel and let it dry for 10 mins

Marinate it with the above ingredients and keep aside for 10 mins





Procedure

  • Heat on tava and shallow fry marinated mushrooms adding 2 tsp oil on a high flame for 5 mins

  • Transfer it on a plate and keep aside

  • Heat oil in a Kadai, add chopped onions and slit green chilli

  • Saute for 5 mins or till onion turns transparent

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes

  • Add soya sauce, vinegar, crushed pepper, salt to taste and toss for a minute

  • Add in the marinated mushrooms and cook with a lid covered, till the mushrooms are done

  • It takes hardly 5 to 10 mins

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with ghee rice, pulav, or noodles.
