Ingredients
2 tsp oil + 1 tsp ghee
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon
3 cardamom
3 cloves
2green chillies chopped
2 finely chopped onions
2 chopped tomatoes
1 cup gobi cut into florets
1 cup matar/ green peas
1/2 cup milk
Chopped coriander leaves
For the masala paste:
6 cashew nuts
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tsp poppy seeds
6 cloves garlic
2 inches ginger
1 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp coriander pdr
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 cup yogurt
Grind the above into a fine paste, using half a cup of water.
Procedure
In cooker heat, oil and ghee, add the whole garam masala, chopped green chillies, onions, tomatoes, gobi florets, green peas, ground masala paste
Mix well and close the lid of the cooker
Cook for 3 whistles
Once the steam is released, open the lid, add the milk and give one boil
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan or phulkas and enjoy.
