Gobi Pepper Chilli





Ingredients

2 cups gobi florets, wash and put in saltwater for 20 mins and drain

Oil for deep frying


For the marination:

1/4 cup cornflour

1/4 cup rice flour

1 tsp pepper pdr

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

Salt to taste


For the sauce:

4 tsp oil

2 chopped green chillies

1/2 inch ginger finely chopped

8 garlic cloves finely chopped

2 onions roughly chopped

2 tsp crushed pepper

4 tsp tomato sauce

3 tsp soya sauce

1 tsp vinegar

2 tsp CHINGS CHILLI OR MANCHURIAN MASALA

Salt to taste

1/4 cup water

3 tblsp finely chopped spring onion greens

2 tblsp finely chopped coriander leaves



Procedure


  • Put the drained gobi florets in a bowl and marinate with the ingredients mentioned using water as required

  • Heat oil and deep fry into crisp fritters and keep aside

  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies and fry till they become brown

  • Put the chopped onions and saute till transparent

  • Add all the sauces, vinegar, pepper pdr, chings masala powder, fry for a minute and add water and give a quick boil

  • Add the fried gobi fritters, salt to taste, and toss well so that the sauce is coated well with all the fritters

  • Finally, garnish with the chopped greens and enjoy with rice or noodles.
