Ingredients
2 cups gobi florets, wash and put in saltwater for 20 mins and drain
Oil for deep frying
For the marination:
1/4 cup cornflour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tsp pepper pdr
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
For the sauce:
4 tsp oil
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
8 garlic cloves finely chopped
2 onions roughly chopped
2 tsp crushed pepper
4 tsp tomato sauce
3 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp CHINGS CHILLI OR MANCHURIAN MASALA
Salt to taste
1/4 cup water
3 tblsp finely chopped spring onion greens
2 tblsp finely chopped coriander leaves
Procedure
Put the drained gobi florets in a bowl and marinate with the ingredients mentioned using water as required
Heat oil and deep fry into crisp fritters and keep aside
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies and fry till they become brown
Put the chopped onions and saute till transparent
Add all the sauces, vinegar, pepper pdr, chings masala powder, fry for a minute and add water and give a quick boil
Add the fried gobi fritters, salt to taste, and toss well so that the sauce is coated well with all the fritters
Finally, garnish with the chopped greens and enjoy with rice or noodles.
