Ingredients
2 cups gobi/cauliflower cut into florets
1 small potato cut into small cubes
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
4-5 methi seeds
1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1.5 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Procedure
Wash well potato and gobi florets in water and drain all the water
Heat oil, add mustard, once it crackles, add haldi,hing, methi seeds fry for a second
Add cut gobi and potato cubes, salt and sprinkle little water
Cover with a tight lid and cook till it becomes tender
Add red chilli powder and cook for 5 mins and serve hot with rice and dal.
