Ingredients
1 cup boiled green peas
1 cup boiled cauliflower florets
2 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
4 tsp oil
chopped coriander leaves
FOR THE MASALA:
1/2 inch ginger
5 garlic cloves
2 green chillies
2 tbsp coconut grated
6 cashew nuts
1 tsp khus khus/poppy seeds
small piece of cinnamon
1 lavang
Grind the above into a fine paste
Procedure
In a pan heat oil and saute onions till transparent
Add chopped tomatoes and fry till it becomes mushy
Put the masala and fry for 5 minutes
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and stir well
Now add in the boiled green peas and gobi florets, salt to taste and water to adjust the consistency of the gravy
Make it boil and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve hot with roti, naan or poori.
