Hakka Noodles With Shanghai Chicken





Ingredients

For Shanghai Chicken:

150 gms Chicken strips (boneless)

2 tbsp diced Red Bell Pepper

2 tbsp diced Green Bell Pepper

2 tbsp Yellow Bell Pepper

1 diced medium sized Onion


For the sauce:

3 tbsp Chopped Green Onion

1 tbsp Chilli flakes

1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste

3 tsp Soya Sauce

3 tsp Tomato Ketchup

1 tsp Vinegar

2-3 tbsp Water


For Hakka Noodles:

1 Packet noodles

1 chopped Onion

1 slit Green chilli

1/2 cup Chopped Carrot

1/2 cup Mushrooms

1/2 cup Chopped Bell Peppers

2 tsp Pepper Powder

2 tsp Soya Sauce

1 tsp Vinegar

Salt to Taste




Procedure

  • To make shanghai chicken heat 3-4 tsp Oil in a pan and fry the chicken strips. once they are cooked take them out and keep them aside.

  • In the same pan fry the diced Onions and all the Bell peppers and later keep them aside.

  • Add little oil to the pan if needed, fry the chopped green onions.

  • Add ginger-garlic paste,chilli flakes, soya sauce, ketchup, vinegar and salt to taste.

  • Add water after frying for 2-3 mins.

  • Add the fried chicken and veggies to the sauce.

  • Serve hot with Noodles or Fried Rice.

  • To make noodles heat 2-3 tsp Oil in a pan and saute the Onions with Green chilli.

  • Add the Chopped bell peppers and carrot and fry for 4-5 mins.

  • Now add the diced Mushrooms and fry for another 5-6 mins.

  • Add the boiled noodles, pepper powder, soya sauce, vinegar and salt. Toss well.

  • Serve with ketchup or any Chinese Gravy.
