
Ingredients
2 cups gobi cut into florets
1/4 cup cornflour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tblsp besan/ bengal gram flour
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
2 sprigs of curry leaves and 2 green chillies for garnishing
for the green paste:
6-8 palak leaves(optional)
Small piece of capsicum
1/2 cup coriander leaves
3 green chillies
5 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger piece
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste.
Procedure
Put the gobi florets in warm water with salt for 15 mins
Wash well and drain all the water, add the ground green masala as needed
Add rice flour,cornflour, besan, salt to taste and toss well
Add little water and mix well so that all the gobi florets are coated well with the masala
Heat oil and deep fry the pakodas in a medium flame till they become crisp
Garnish with the fried curry leaves and green chillies
Serve hot with hot coffee or tea.
