Haryali Mushroom Masala

Ingredients

1 pack of mushrooms

2 onions finely chopped

5 tsp oil

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp garam masala pdr

Salt to taste

2 tsp Kasuri methi

1 tsp lemon juice


For the masala paste:

2 tblsp grated coconut

2-3 green chillies

1/2 inch ginger

1/2 cup coriander leaves

8 cashew nuts

3 garlic cloves

Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep aside




Procedure

  • Wash and cut the mushrooms into pieces

  • In a pan heat oil, add chopped onions, and fry till it turns light pink

  • Add haldi, ground masala,garam masala, and fry till raw smell goes

  • Add the mushrooms, salt to taste and cook until it is cooked

  • Add water and adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your choice

  • Finish with adding chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, Kasuri methi, and mix well

  • Serve hot with roti,naan or phulkas.
