Hotel Style Chutney





Ingredients


1/2 cup fresh grated coconut

2-3 green chillies or according to your taste

1 tbsp coriander leaves fried in little oil till wilted

1/2 inch ginger piece

small piece of onion (1/4 of a small onion)

1 garlic clove(Don't use more as it will overpower the chutney)

2 tblsp fried gram/dariya dal/hurigadale

Salt to taste


For Tempering:

1 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

1 sprig of curry leaf

1 tsp urad dal

1 broken red chilli




Procedure


  • Grind all the ingredients in the mixer into a fine paste

  • Add water and adjust the consistency according to your taste

  • Temper with the mentioned ingredients

  • Serve with any dosa, idli.
