Ingredients
1 cup boiled Toor dal/ yellow lentil
2 finely chopped tomatoes
8 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 sliced green chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 dry red chilli
Curry leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp lemon juice or tamarind juice
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
5 tsp oil
2 tsp ghee
Procedure
Heat oil in a pan, put, cumin seeds, when starts crackling add, curry leaves, chopped garlic and fry till light brown
Add dry chilli, green chilli and fry for a minute
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chopped tomatoes and fry till tomato becomes pulpy
Add boiled dal, salt and little water, make it boil for 5 mins
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Add ghee and lime juice before serving
Serve hot dal with hot roti, chapati or parathas!!
