Ingredients
2 cups kathal cut into chunks ( raw jackfruit)
2 onions
2 green chillies
1 tomato
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
3 cloves garlic
1/2 inch ginger
3 tsp oil
1/2 tsp haldi powder
3 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp daniya powder
2 tsp jeera powder
2 tbsp milk powder
1 tsp Kasuri methi
salt to taste
Procedure
Parboil jackfruit pieces with salt and deep fry
In 1/2 tsp oil roast 1 chopped onion, green chillies,1/4 cup coriander leaves,1 chopped tomato, ginger and garlic and grind this to a fine paste
In a pan take 3 tsp oil and fry the remaining chopped onion
Add haldi, daniya jeera powder, red chilli powder and fry for a second
Now add the masala, 1/2 cup water and stir it
Put deep-fried jackfruit pieces, milk powder salt to taste n make it boil
Finally, garnish with daniya leaves and Kasuri methi
