Katori Chaat is a unique chaat recipe or a street food served in crisp snack deep fried bowl’s. the bowl or canopies is filled with potatoes, sprouts finely chopped onions, and tomatoes with chaat chutney’s and served as an individual snack. it can be an ideal party starter snack and certainly can raise a lot of curiosity with your party guests.
Ingredients
1 Cup Maida
1 Cup Chiroti Rava
1/2 cup boiled sprouted Moong
1/2 cup diced-boiled Potatoes
1/4 Cup Chopped Onions
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Chat Masala
1/2 tbsp Tamarind Chutney
Salt to taste
Corriander leaves
Shev
Procedure
Make the dough by kneading chiroti Rava and maida with Ghee and little salt.
Keep the dough aside for 2 hrs.
Grease the bottom of a bowl (externally), make puris with the dough and place it around the bowl.
Deep fry these until they turn brown and crispy.
Once they cool, add a mixture of potatoes mixed with chilli powder, chat masala, salt and tamarind chutney.
Add sprouted moong and onions over this.
Finish the dish by garnishing with Shev and Corriander leaves.
