Kerala Style Egg Masala





Ingredients

6 boiled eggs

2 chopped onions

1 tomato chopped

4 tsp oil

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

coriander leaves


For masala:

3 tsp coconut,1 tomato and1 onion, chopped,2 tsp coriander powder,3 tsp chilli powder, little tamarind,2 cloves, small cinnamon piece,1/2 tsp shahi jeera

Grind the above ingredients into a smooth paste.




Procedure

  • Take a saucepan and put oil in it and saute chopped onions till transparent

  • Add chopped tomato and turmeric powder and fry

  • Add the masala and fry for 5 minutes

  • Add 1/2 cup water, salt to taste and boiled eggs cut into halves and cook for 5-10 minutes and garnish with coriander leaves

  • Serve hot with any rice or roti.
