Ingredients
5 cups maida
1 cup roasted urad dal powder
3 tsp or 1 lemon size butter
Salt to taste
2 tsp sesame seeds/ white til
2 tsp crushed cumin seeds/ jeera
1 tsp red chilli powder
Oil for deep frying
Procedure
Put maida in a muslin cloth, tie it and steam in cooker or steamer for 15 mins
Transfer it to a bowl and mix well with all the other ingredients
Add water as required and knead the dough
Make chaklis and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame into golden brown and crisp chaklis.
